I have several hundred articles published on the Internet, with more being added every day, and I love researching and writing on a wide range of topics, with a special focus on science and health issues. I have also ghost-written several e-books. My work is always original, and I verify my work with Copyscape to ensure I haven't inadvertently reproduced something. I don't just re-write and regurgitate, but I go to the source and do my own original research to make sure my work is accurate and factual.

Editing

I have had years of experience as an editor and proofreader of documents such as user guides, manuals, training materials, company brochures, annual reports, newsletters, web sites, business documentation, letters, book chapters, articles, e-books, theatre programmes and posters, essays, and academic papers.

I offer an editing and proofreading service, and I can edit virtually any kind of document. I am experienced in both US and UK English, and I offer three levels of editing:

1. Proofreading, which means correcting spelling, punctuation, typos, and advice on consistency, styles and so on.

2. Copy editing, which means corrections to grammar, spelling, punctuation, and so on, checking for other errors, plagiarism, breaches of copyrights, ensuring consistency of style and format.

3. Substantive editing, which means re-writing or writing sections or the entire document, reorganising the document as necessary, ensuring the document is clear and accurate.

Style manuals and referencing
I use the Chicago Manual of Style as my primary style manual, but I am also familiar with several others. I have used most academic styles such as APA, Harvard and MLA, and can use whichever system you prefer.
